The Aspire Society is a youth-centric organization that was started in spring 2023 with the mission to bring people together, working together as leaders to make a positive impact in their community. Our core team is driven and passionate about creating opportunities to empower young people.

The Aspire Society is a youth organization dedicated to connecting, inspiring, and empowering young people to engage in their communities. Our organization works to improve the network of youth leaders by connecting them to each other and collaborating with partners to create meaningful change.

Founder

Maya Achuthan

Maya has an extensive background in STEM and is a young entrepreneur passionate about sustainability, technology and advocacy. She believes that when young people work together, amazing things can happen. When she's not making plans to improve The Aspire Society, she enjoys rowing, hiking, and painting.

Social Media and Design

Janet Andrews

Janet is a high school student, who is passionate about the environment, and involves herself in sustainability work within her community. She’s interested in working on outreach and networking a community of likeminded individuals. In her free time, she enjoys playing guitar, singing and painting.

Outreach - Lower Mainland

Taya Kovacic Chan

Taya is a high school student living in Vancouver who has been passionate about environmental and social justice for as long as she can remember. She is committed to helping create a community of empowered youth, working to create positive change in the world. Taya's other hobbies include triathlon, hiking, and baking.
